Guess what, if you're in Rye's ideal world, you're GONNA GET A DRAGON PARTNER. Cause this is how he is.

But I can't assign everyone an ideal dragon. Please don't make me, I would die. If you have a general idea of the kind of dragon you'd want, I could offer up what might be close since its a lot easier with guidance. Otherwise!

A handy wiki! To dragon classes, not just a list of the dragons. The dragons are canonically divided up into classes, so that can help you narrow down to an archetype and go from there.

Rye does now know what a Light Fury is so that is not an option. Night Furies are only an option for three people because Reasons.

Also some general personality traits you'd think would make for a good partner. This could be a dragon with a similar personality, or it could be a partnership where the dragon and rider challenge each other to improve.

For example, Snotlout is an arrogant boy and Hookfang has a tendency to be lazy. Hookfang checks Snotlout's ego, and Snotlout's ambition keeps Hookfang moving. Meanwhile both Astrid and Stormfly have a strong competitive streak and care about how they're perceived.

All dragons have:
Loyalty
Protectiveness
Possessiveness/territorial

You can define these into a more specific version of those emotions (though no full on yandere dragon in Rye's ideal world) or I'll just go with the usual baseline we see in dragons.

I'd like if you could give me up to three other extra personality traits to help round out the dragon NPC.

There is a dollar coin scar of skin cut off on the left side of his neck. (Thanks Corruption.)
At the stump of his left leg, there is gouges from under under his knee down left from teeth scraping, and then burn scars covering up the base of it.
There ten bite scars on his body. One on his left arm, two on his right leg, two on his right side, one of his left side, four on his back, spread out.
There is a larger burn scar on his right shoulder.
There are various minor cuts and burn scars over the rest of his body.

Personality: Extremely clever and observant, though a tendency to hyperfocus on interesting things. There is definitely a lot of snark and sarcasm, but also a lot of earnest care for people and friendliness. Friendliness versus snark depends upon situation. He is a capable leader and can hold himself as such, with confidence covering up a lot of anxiety and doubt.
