RTTE: Team Astrid. Season 2, episode 1
Written Summary
Hiccup's flying at night with Astrid when they see the Night Terrors aren't at their post. They head to the base proper to see Tuffnut is giving them 'training.' More akin to a dog. There is a scolding since the Night Terrors are important for their security and there is concern Dagur will attack despite not knowing where the Edge is.
They get a Terror Mail, telling them there's been an attack on Berk and they quickly fly back. They find out Dagur attacked with a single ship, setting several houses on fire. Its an odd attack and one they're trying to figure out what's the end goal. Repairs get started, with Stoick giving orders and Hiccup quickly taking charge himself with the riders helping and trying to find Dagur. Unfortunately they don't find him.
More upsetting, however, is one of the houses that burned down was Astrid's. Her parents weren't home so they were fine, but its clear she's shaken up by the experience. So much so when she says she's going to sleep in the arena, everyone is quick to volunteer to sleep there too, 'just cause.' Snotlout hits on her, she flips him, twins get told to undo their 'accidental stealing,' and there's cute dragon cuddling.
The next morning, Hiccup is getting everyone ready to go to find Dagur, when Astrid says she's not going back after talking to his father the night before. Concerned at first she intended to do it alone with Stormfly, she clarifies she is going to actually train a team. While still concerned, Hiccup does agree its a good idea. He sends the other four back to the Edge to search for Dagur, while he and Astrid stay. Astrid insists on needing to be the one to train them and Hiccup agrees, he's just staying to keep an eye out for Dagur if he doubles back.
There's a good turn out for villagers trying out for the B Team, though the number has been brought down by the time Hiccup returns from his patrol of the island. He watches Astrid giving them a test on their dragons. While Hiccup is delighted by their unconventional, but still effective answers to the test, Astrid is extremely critical, even sabotaging Gustav when he got it exactly right on the second try. Hiccup is confused by this because it seems like she wants them to fail. Like she doesn't want to be finished with training.
Hiccup goes to talk to Astrid and calls her out on what she's doing. She wants a reason to stay on Berk because she wants to protect her family. She tries to deny it, but Hiccup knows they both know its true. He reminds her she can't protect them all the time. She's still closed off from him and he asks her to think about it while he goes to the Edge to check on the others so they can talk about it when he gets back.
He heads back to the Edge and sees Dagur has found the Edge. Hiccup manages to zip past the ships to regroup with the others. The others tried to fend off the ships and Meatlug is already in bad shape. So they decide to play defense as Hiccup sends a message back to Berk for reinforcements.
They manage to hold the Edge when Astrid and Stoick (on a new dragon) show up to help. They start trying to take down ships, but Astrid and Stoick both get brought down to a ship and things are getting dicey when suddenly the B Team show up to help. With the increase in numbers, its far easier to take down enough ships to force a retreat, with Dagur screaming at Hiccup for 'always being a cheater.'
Astrid gets the B Team in front of her and starts dressing them down...before validating their actions for being brave and working together as a team. Finally accepting they can do the job and announcing Gustav as the leader for having the most experience. Astrid will be staying on Dragon's Edge, admitting she can't protect Berk all the time, and trusts them. Hiccup says the team is Astrid's. So they should be called the A Team. Astrid does still threaten them if they slack off. They fly off. Snotlout hits on Astrid again. Gets flipped.

RTTE: Saving Shattermaster. Season 4, episode 5
Written Summary
Hiccup is landing on an island to meet Queen Mala. She explains an encounter at the market, where Hunters almost started a fight with them while they were attempting to buy weapons. It seems the merchants are less willing to sell them weapons now while they were before. Heather confirms it has always been a peaceful place for trade. Luckily before a fight broke out, a cloaked stranger interfered, calling the Hunters out on their stupidity for challenging Mala, and getting them to back off, but warning Mala the island is no longer safe for them.
Hiccup thanks Mala for the information, and Mala admits she had summoned them for a different reason. She wants Snotlout to go through the Trials, tests performed to select a new King. They are extremely dangerous. Snotlout then appears, wanting to leave quickly, but stops short when he sees Mala, flirting with her. She seems find with it. Snotlout talks to the others, not wanting to die just to become a king, but when the twins talk about how he isn't capable, his pride convinces him to try anyway.
Hiccup decides everyone except for him and Heather will stay there to make sure Snotlout doesn't die, while they go investigate the market.
They arrive on the island, changing into Defender of the Wing outfits (very ninja like) to hide their faces, going in without their dragons to not draw too much unnecessary attention. They find a ton of Hunters in the market. While browsing, a Hunter takes notice and are about to attack when Toothless blasts them away, having followed. They bolt before anyone gets a good look at the dragons.
They see a dock from an overhang where Hunters are talking to a cloaked figure. Who is actually Dagur! Much to their shock because last they saw, he had risked his life to save all of theirs, and now he seems to be with the Dragon Hunters. Heather is enraged, clearly she had lethal intentions towards him before whatever this risk was. Hiccup talks her down since attacking him would put all four of them at risk. He wants to isolate Dagur to find out what's going on. Heather reluctantly agrees.
They go looking for him, without much luck, and Heather still wants to kill him. Especially because he has his own dragon now. Then Toothless shows up, dragging Dagur. Who acts like he doesn't know them, claiming to be a poor vagrant. Heather doesn't believe, Hiccup thinks it could be possible he has amnesia. Then Hunters find them after Dagur's screaming. The dragons make short work of the ambush, but Dagur has disappeared.
They manage to find him on a dock, with Heather charging in. Hiccup tries to get Toothless to pin him down so they can sort this out, but its clear that isn't working and just draws attention from the incoming ships. They manage to get away and capture Dagur, heading back for the Edge.
Once Dagur wakes up, he admits he remembers them, and he is working for the Hunters, but only because they have Shattermaster. They land to regroup and Hiccup prompts Heather to maybe try to make up with Dagur since he had actually changed. Dagur assures Heather that she was right to not trust him and he understands she feels bad. There is still a tension between them, and Dagur admits that too and switches gears on how they'll make it up to him. Which enrages Heather and Hiccup is quick to defuse the situation and says they'll help get Shattermaster back. Heather wants answers instead and Dagur promises to give them, but Shattermaster is the priority.
He asks Hiccup if he has a Hiccup-y plan to help get his dragon back. The problem is Viggo has a lot of ships. They split up to search the recent ships for the Gronckles, but only find new weapons. Hiccup thinks the Hunters traded the Gronckles to the Masons for the weapons. Since Gronckles are good for melting iron and making Gronckle Iron. Dagur does some fanboying over Gronckles.
They find the Masons, Gronckles, and Shattermaster. Hiccup agrees with Dagur on knowing one's own dragon. There is Dagur referring to them as siblings sincerely, there is Hiccup referring to it jokingly, and there is Heather wanting to kill Dagur, but with slightly less sincere intent as Dagur rushes in to save Shattermaster ahead of them. Dagur is actually pretty good at mowing enemies down with Heather and Hiccup acting as back up and cover and manage to drive off the Hunters and free the Gronckles.
Dagur is ready for a lecture, but Hiccup and Heather reassure him that they're not mad. They would have done the same for their dragons. The rest of Viggo's fleet show up and in an effort to protect the Gronckles, Dagur decides to lead the fleet away while Hiccup and Heather get the dragons away. Heather is actually sad to see him go, though clearly conflicted on those feelings, and Dagur gives her a Berserker promise and handshake that he will come back and he'll tell all. Heather is still in distress later and Hiccup assures her that promise is actually very serious business.
Hiccup and Heather arrive to find out Snotlout has bests all his tests save one, where he has to take an arrow for Queen Mala. Hiccup is concerned for...many reasons, really. Toothless causes a disruption to throw off the arrow so it misses Snotlout and Mala catches it. Who does seem aware of Hiccup's concern. Snotlout fails the test and he will not be king. He is, however, given a party for his efforts.

Written Summary
Hiccup is working on the Dragonfly Two (flightsuit), and Toothless is Not Impressed. Hiccup jokes about it, how it lets them fly side by side and also puts them in dangerous situations Toothless has to save him from. Hiccup asks him to light the forge, only for Snotlout to sneak up on them and offers to do it, looking to be 'helpful.' He ends up setting Hiccup's hut on fire. Even the Twins are judging Snotlout after they put out the fire. Hiccup is vexed.
Stoick then arrives on Skullcrusher, the new dragon friend. He is looking for Snotlout, to talk and complain about his father, Spitelout. A lot of the complaints Hiccup also knows those feels. Spitelout apparently has a lot of ideas since joining the A Team. The newest is an emergency cache of supplies off the island, which Hiccup honestly agrees isn't a bad idea, to Stoick's annoyance. Stoick then clarifies the idea is fine, hearing it four times a day isn't.
Stoick let him go out on recon for spots if he was going to go on about it. Apparently his last trip has been a month long which is the actual cause for concern. He doesn't know where Spitelout went, but found a map that seems to be coded. Snotlout says its not, his father just has terrible grammar and penmanship, of which Snotlout judges him a lot for and he actually knows what a participle is. The hidden depths of the Snot. He can read the map and both him and Hiccup insist on going too.
Hiccup does his best to comfort Snotlout even though he tries to pretend he's fine. They do find the island though and see a well constructed building with a metal S on it. He was only supposed to be scouting, but Snotlout says its initiative with Stoick saying its insubordination. They don't find Spitelout, but they do find a yak???
Snotlout says he's having deja vu (wrongly with a quip from Hiccup), and he realizes its a Jorgenson Yakmaster, a dragon trap...that he sets off and traps him, Hiccup, Toothless, Hookfang, and the yak all in a net. Stoick is about to release them when another dragon shows up, rather aggressive. Stoick is focused on protecting the boys while they're still trapped, when Spitelout finally shows up. Hiccup is trying to remember where he's seen the dragon before. Spitelout and Stoick try to deal with the rogue dragon.
They manage to chase off the dragon and land by the boys and start arguing as Hiccup finally remembers the dragon is a Singetail. Stoick finally releases them from the trap in his anger. The arguing continues with the boys taking part, talking about Stoick being a control freak and Spitelout saying Stoick can take whatever risks he wants, but Spitelout is being a reckless renegade and Stoick is just trying to be chief. Spitelout explains that if he just returned when he found the island, Stoick would want to be in control and it was faster if he just built the storehouse himself. He had checked the island to be sure it was safe, the Singetail only arrived after the building was finished.
Hiccup thinks the fires the Singetail is setting is to mark its territory. Spitelout says the storehouse was there first. Stoick wants to leave. Spitelout counters that Stoick wouldn't abandon anything he built. Hiccup tries to play peacekeeper and suggest they try to save the storehouse and drive the dragon off.
The Singetail comes by for another attack. They try to overpower the dragon, but its eyes and ability to create fire in several directions makes it an omnidirectional fighter. They try to find a weak spot, and Hiccup sees the fires are being set everywhere. Too much for a simple marking of territory, but he doesn't know what it is yet. Unfortunately, they find out the Singetail also has vents on its underside that release flames, almost setting Hiccup on fire.
Stoick snaps at Spitelout and shows he doesn't trust the man much. The fight gets worse with Spitelout and Snotlout staying to defend the storehouse and Stoick leaving with Hiccup in tow.
Stoick goes on a rant about Spitelout and Hiccup lets him, listening and not saying much. Until finally Stoick tells him to speak his mind and Hiccup starts to talk about them and how they're similar. How Snotlout tries to one up him and show off. Which Stoick acknowledged Spitelout does. Which is when Hiccup points out who are they trying to show off to?
Hiccup understands that Snotlout and Spitelout both want to prove themselves to them. In a rather demented way, but in the end, its because they want Stoick and Hiccup to see them in a good light. Spitelout's defense of the storehouse is him trying to prove himself to Stoick.
Hiccup's words get to Stoick and they head back. They arrive during another attack, seeing a second Singetail. Snotlout suggests the second was drawn to the fires and Hiccup realizes that's why the fires were weird, it was a call for back up. More Singetails arrive and Stoick tries back up Spitelout, and Spitelout, knowing his chief is willing to stand with him, is willing to conceded defeat. They decide to build another storehouse elsewhere, together.
Snotlout goes back for the yak and Stoick goes back for a 'S' on the storehouse as a show of support and they fly off into the sunset.
